Main church service for adults is held in the sanctuary. Your kiddos will be safe with our childcare workers in their respective classrooms during this time. Snack is provided for toddlers & pre-k. They will also hear a Bible story and do a related craft. They have time to play and build friendships with other kids in their class.
If you are not staying for second hour Sunday School, you can pick up your child by 11:00am.

For mamas who would like to feed their babies, we have a private nursing room you're welcome to come utilize anytime.

Our infant room has a monitored napping room adjacent to the infant classroom with safety standard cribs that can be used for kiddos who need a little snooze during this time period.

Contact Us with Questions

What happens if my child needs me?

In the event your child is upset or needs you for some reason during church service, we text the phone number you provide us with during check in. We know that new places and faces can be unsettling to little ones at first, and it can be nerve-wracking as a parent to leave your child in a new place for the first time. Our chlidcare workers are trained and are great at soothing and reassuring littles who need it. However, if we feel like your child isn't calming down or can't be redirected, we will let you know!

What Childcare Volunteers Have to Say

Melody

“I love to serve in early childhood because I get to know each of the kids better, and share Bible stories with them.”

Penny

“Some of my favorite parts about serving are bonding with kids and seeing each of their different personalities! I also love seeing how much they already know about the Bible from such a young age. I love the stories I get to share with my family afterwards, there are always plenty!”

Kathy

“I have always had a passion for working with children, previously I owned a licensed in-home daycare for 9 years. Plus I am silly and so are kids so we get to connect right away by being silly!”

Connie

“I love teaching children and sharing God’s word in ways they can understand. It’s such a joy to engage them and see their enthusiasm through song, stories and play! What a privilege it is to help plant Seeds of Faith that by God’s grace will one day be a Harvest of Righteousness!”

Addison

“I love serving in Early Childhood because I love being with kids. I like playing games with them and it's a really fun time!”

Olivia

“One of my favorite parts of serving in Sunday School is seeing the kids' understanding of Jesus! Even if they are really small you can still see how much they know about Jesus and share his love for them. It’s so cool!”

Katrina

“I love to be a Family Check In volunteer because I am able to welcome and greet families as they arrive! I enjoy seeing the kiddos and chatting with them! Since my kids are older, I didn’t know many of the younger families and this has given me the opportunity to get to know them better and meet new people!”

Sherry

“I love holding the babies, praying for them to love Jesus, and singing them songs!”

Levi

“I love working with the kids because the Bible tells me I should find a way to help!”

FAQs

What ages are included in your Sunday School?

Our age-based Children's Ministry is available for birth through 5th grade. After 5th grade, students move into our Middle School and High School Youth Ministry.

Is there Sunday School during every Sunday service?

Yes! Children's Ministry is available during every Sunday service unless noted for holidays, special events, or Family Worship Sundays.

What is available for babies and toddlers?

We love our littlest ones! Babies and toddlers enjoy a safe, nurturing environment where they experience God's love through play, age-appropriate Bible stories, worship songs, and caring volunteers.

What will my child learn each Sunday?

Every Sunday, kids discover God's love and faithfulness through engaging Bible teaching, worship, hands-on activities, crafts, games, and Scripture. At LifePoint, everything we teach begins with God's Word.

Is your Children's Ministry safe?

Yes! Your child's safety is one of our highest priorities. Every volunteer is background checked, trained, and committed to creating a safe, welcoming environment. Security team members are also present throughout our Children's Ministry areas each Sunday.

How does child check-in and check-out work?

Our secure check-in system makes drop-off and pick-up simple. At check-in, your family receives matching security tags—one for your child and one for you. The matching tag is required for pick-up to help keep every child safe.

Are your volunteers background checked?

Yes! Every Children's Ministry volunteer completes a background check before serving and is committed to providing a safe, caring environment for every child.

What happens if my child cries or needs me?

Our experienced volunteers will first comfort your child with age-appropriate care like rocking, playing, reading a book, or offering a snack (when appropriate). If your child continues to need you, we'll send you a text.

Can visitors attend the Children's Ministry on their first Sunday?

Yes! We'd love to meet your family. Visitors are welcome to check their children into the Children's Ministry on their very first Sunday, although we hope you choose to come back week after week!

How do parents stay informed about what their children are learning?

Each week, your child takes home a summary of the Bible lesson along with simple resources to help continue the conversation at home. Parents also receive monthly emails, and lesson information is always available on our Children's Ministry webpage.

Can parents serve in the Children's Ministry?

Absolutely! We'd love to have you! Serving is a great way to invest in the next generation and get to know other families. We encourage parents to serve about once a month, giving you opportunities to serve while still enjoying worship and the message with your family the rest of the month.
