We point elementary-age children to Jesus, helping each one grow in their faith. We want every child to know who Jesus is, what he has done for them, and how to grow in their relationship with Him. We help kids grow in their knowledge of God’s word by opening the Bible every Sunday, memorizing scripture, and learning how to use His Word daily for guidance. We’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with you in discipling your kids so they can find joy in becoming more and more dependent on Jesus!

It is a joy and privilege to be part of your children's lives!

We offer a safe, fun, and inviting place with a team of leaders you can trust. All serving team members go through an application/background check process prior to serving.

Sunday Schedule for Kids

9:15am-9:30am Check In

LifePoint uses a secure check-in system where you and your child will be given printed tags with corresponding security codes. Place one tag on your child and keep one for yourself. This tag is required to pick up your child after church.

9:30am-11:00am 1st Hour

Kindergarten through fifth grade kids join the congregation for worship music at the beginning of each Sunday service, and then get dismissed to KidzPlace. We have a fun time learning from the Bible and growing together in relationships and faith. You’ll go home with an explanation of what your child learned that day, for further discussion at home, if you wish.

11:00am-12:00pm 2nd Hour

During the 11 o’clock hour, traditionally called Sunday School, we split up into grade level based groups where kids dive deeper into the Bible lesson. The smaller class size encourages closer relationships while having discussions to help answer the question, “How does this lesson show me how God wants me to live today?” It also creates more opportunities for each child to share what’s on their mind and to pray for each other. We play games, share a snack and sometimes do crafts.

Romans 12:1-2

Therefore, brothers and sisters, in view of the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your true worship. Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.

Curriculum

At KidzPlace, our team utilizes the “Brite Gospel-centered Children’s Ministry” curriculum. It is a chronological Bible journey, built on the philosophy of helping kids belong to God's Kingdom, believe in Jesus as their Savior, and become like Him in their daily lives.

FAQs

How do I know my child is safe?

We have a secure check-in process that assures only a verified adult can pick up a child. All our team members go through an application/background check process prior to working with kids. We have open-door policies that prevent one-on-one isolation and also a LifePointe Security Team monitoring the building.

Can my child attend only one of the KidzPlace times?

Of course! Your child can come to KidzPlace while you are in church and you can pick them up after.

Does my child need a Bible?

While we encourage kids to bring their own Bible we do have Bibles in the classroom they can borrow to use for the morning.

Can my child bring a favorite toy to class?

Preferably, no. We want your child to feel comfortable but toys become distracting for your child as well as other kids.

Do I need to pick my child up after church and then check them into the 11 o’clock class?

No. We move all the kids to their grade-level classes and you can pick them up afterwards so you can attend a community LifeGroup or DTM.

Can I leave to run an errand while my child is in KidzPlace?

For safety reasons, you need to stay on the building grounds while your child is in our care.
