Introducing LifePoint's New Branding & Website!

You may have noticed we have a new look! In October of 2026, after six months of planning, brainstorming, collaborating and designing we launched our new branding and website. This was a large scale effort, made possible by our three lead pasters, our entire staff, Orca Business Consulting (owned by a LifePoint attendee), and of course, those who faithfully give to LifePoint Church. It had been more than a decade since we had refreshed our branding or website. It was time! Our digital doorstep is a resource that was being underutilized.

Here's a little bit of "behind the scenes" info on the process.

Colors & Fonts:

Dozens (literally) of options were considered for colors & fonts. We wanted to be true to who we are, represent our geographic location well and create an updated look that would appeal to all generations of potential visitors and members. We also considered our currently physical space, ensuring any signage or print assets would feel complimentary to our building. We settled on what you see now as we felt the blue & tan, combined with a charcoal gray, brighter yellow and cream color would give us a natural, Colorado-forward color palette. We decided on a blocky primary font with rounded corners (continuing an organic, natural feel), in combination with a inky script font, which is a nod to our rich history.

Logo:

We considered 9 different logo concepts. It came down to the one you see currently in our header and one that featured a mountain design. While the mountain design looked nice, we wanted something that would set us apart from other churches in Fort Collins. You can see below our new logo in comparison to some of the other churches in our area.

The other primary goal we had for our logo was that we would have an icon that could be used in a small format, like social media icons, that would make it obvious we are a church. Words are not allowed in most social media profile icons, so you're left with just a brand mark (for us that is the cross with "LP" integrated within the cross). We wanted something unique and easily identifiable. We think we did all those things!

Website:

Our staff has been working in collaboration with our website team over the last few months to write new content for our updated website. We were trained on how to provide content that would not only help us rank on search engines but also on AI engines. You'll notice the FAQ sections at the bottom of most of our pages. Those meet two needs. One, it's nice to answer common questions that site visitors may have. But secondly, that type of content is very helpful to apps like ChatGPT and Claude because people are interacting with AI tools in a conversational manner (asking their AI apps questions).

One of the main improvements we made to our website was to make the navigation, content and terminology more friendly to people outside our congregation, and possibly even people who have not attended church before (and therefore don't know what church terms mean). If you are a member of our church, we hope it's still easy for you to find the information and resources you need, too!

Dropping the "E":

During our rebranding process, we decided to drop the "e" from the end of "LifePointe". It didn't hold much significance to the current church, and was no longer needed. Originally we used the "e" to differentiate ourselves from another small church in Loveland who was using the name LifePoint, which is no longer in operation. For search purposes and the sake of simplicity, we took the opportunity to drop the "e" and spell our name as "LifePoint Church".

Church History:

You'll notice our logo now says, "Est. 1879". Many people don't know that we are one of the oldest churches in the region. We were founded as First Baptist Church in Old Town, Fort Collins almost 150 years ago! Our heritage and steadfast love for the Northern Colorado community is something to be proud of. We wanted to share our history on our new website. We created a page under our "About" menu that talks more about our history. If you haven't already read it, we highly recommend taking a peek!

We hope you love our new look as much as we do! Thank you for Sharing the Life with us!
